Featured ‘Fresh’ Items for October

Mini pumpkins will decorate the cafeteria lines in addition to a variety of apple types for students to select. Also, be on the lookout for Warm Cinnamon Apples and Apple Crisp to be featured this month.

National School Lunch Week, Oct. 9-13

In celebration of National School Lunch Week with the theme of “Level Up,” students will be able to choose special items to incorporate with their lunches during this time. For K-4, students will have new sauces to try with their chicken tenders, larger corn dogs and special veggie/fruit options. Students in grades 5-12, will be able to select from different options to “level up” their meals.

Global Flavors, Oct. 25

We’re exposing student’s tastebuds to Latin America cuisine. Our cafeterias will offer: Glazed Latin Chicken over Black Beans and Rice with Spiced Fruit Relish. This menu option will replace the Hamburger for K-4, be a substitution for the Meatball Sub in grades 5-8 and replace one entrée in the high schools. This special meal will be available to all students as a regular Meal Deal.
