Welcome to Brooks School Elementary!

Brooks School Elementary houses more than 700 learners from preschool through fourth grade. Our staff is filled with dedicated teachers who are serious about reaching the diverse educational needs of our student body. Students at BSE are immersed in a warm, welcoming, and safe school community where high expectations are the norm. Our intense focus on academic achievement provides students a variety of opportunities to engage in their learning in a creative 21st century learning atmosphere. All students thrive in a 1:1 tech environment where application and creativity are the focus. The library runs on a flex schedule, providing increased inquiry and cooperative teaching across all grade levels. Students experience tier learning in an application driven classroom setting where they learn of their robust impact as global citizens. Our students learn to collaborate at the kindergarten level and are expected to apply their thinking in cooperation with their fellow students throughout their years at BSE. Students experience service learning projects in a variety of settings and understand that they will be improved to design solutions to real life problems within their content focus.

Our PTO generates quality events that provide our students opportunities to immerse themselves in math, science, engineering, foreign language, the arts, and simply have fun with their fellow neighbors. If you desire a school staff that is focused on the individual needs of each child, in a positive environment, where academic rigor is offered, then BSE is your school.

The Brooks School staff is proud of their accomplishments. BSE has been recognized as a high performing, four-star school by the State of Indiana eight times since the school opened in 2003.
